* Soft Tissue Therapies *
Dry Needling Therapy
A soft tissue treatment technique where the needle is inserted into myofascial trigger points (knots) in the muscle to assist with reducing pain, as well as restoring & improving function. Where muscle fibres have shortened & contracted when activated, but have not been able to lengthen back to a relaxed state after use, dry needling releases the muscle's ability to lengthen and shorten normally.
Cupping - Myofascial
Helps boost immune function and speed up healing time, commonly used inconjunction with massage therapy, essential oils, acupuncture or even as an adjunct to “Western Medicine” treatments.
Kinesio Taping
Kinesio taping is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process. Providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion as well as providing extended soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits.
